Sometimes when I sit down to paint, I feel pretty darn good about it. Then there are other times when I get a feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach that I label as “worry”.

Sometimes I only get a momentary bit of worry that I am able to push away. That’s what happened when I sat down to paint this month’s August challenge.

I haven’t spent much time studying or painting beach landscapes. So, it goes without saying that I was a little intimidated myself when I decided to pick this ocean and wave reference photo for the July Paint With Me Challenge!
