Morning In Marseille Loose Watercolor Painting
I purchased this watercolor lesson on Enterclass by Sergei Kurbatov sometime in 2019 and I never actually went through it. I have admired Sergei’s style for a while and since I already enjoy painting loose, I was excited to finally sit down and practice using this lesson as a guide.
I realized that the one thing that I found the most difficult was taking a reference photo that is very detailed and choosing what details to actually paint! It is so easy to get too “into the weeds” with adding details. But the beauty of Sergei’s style in the simplicity of the details. His experiences allows him to know what to paint and what not to paint.

Unknown Brand ¾ “ Flat Brush
Winsor & Newton Art Masking Fluid (used an old brush to apply it)
