In this blog post I'm sharing the two types of masking tape I use that have worked well for me so far. This is just based on my own limited experience since I know there are many different types of tape out there that can be used as masking off areas for watercoloring.

In this post, I'm sharing my #1 tip for painting watercolor color mixing charts. The tip is: Use masking tape to create your grid! I used to draw the grid by hand and carefully paint the squares. But after seeing other artists use this method, I wanted to give it a try. And as it turns out, this is so much easier!

I painted a fun little project a few weeks ago that I'm sharing on the blog today: rainbow watercolor borders.

For these watercolor borders, I was going for an "abstract" look. I used bold strokes, wet-on-wet mixed with dry brush, some splatter, and a bit of dabbing to paint 12 sheets in all the colors of the rainbow.
